Composition: - Tylosin tartarate 110gm Equivalent to Tylosin 100 gm Properties : Tylosin is a macrolide antibiotic which acts by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis through binding to 50S ribosomal subunits within cell wall . It has antibacterial spectrum that is essentially against gram +ve bacteria including (Actinomyces spp . Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae), certain gram – ve. bacteria including Pasteurella spp and Fusobacterium necrophorum)and certain Spirochetes (as Treponema hyodysenteriae). Indications: Pre ruminant Calves: Treatment of pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma spp when the disease has been established in the herd. Broiler Chickens: Treatment of chronic respiratory diseases (CRD) caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum and Mycoplasma synoviae when the disease has been established in the flock.
